creative sessions

Creative sessions are curated for each group and revealed once our co-creators are confirmed. In the meantime, explore past retreats and enjoy a glimpse of what’s to come.

mindful ceramic workshop – rooting into the earth through clay

In this creative session, participants are invited to slow down and reconnect with themselves through clay. Beginning with a short meditation and breathing exercise to ground into the present moment, and then slowly integrating movement. Guidance to connect with clay is rooted in simple ancestral hand building techniques. Focus is less on the outcome and more on presence, touch, play and connection. Clay becomes not only an object but a vessel for experience, memory, and grounding.

وش لونك؟ / wesh lounik?

by Daliah Albouri

Wesh Lounik? is how we say “How are you?” in parts of the Arab world. Its literal meaning, “What’s your color?” shifts the question into something deeper, an invitation to explore one’s state of being. In this session, participants will reflect on the four temperaments and color psychology to uncover the shades that mirror their inner world. Together we will look at how colors carry meaning across cultures: red as luck in China and power in the United States, white as the Western bridal color while green has been worn in Saudi weddings, black as mourning in some places and white in others.

Each participant will then craft a misbah in colors that represent her personality, emotions, and journey. The misbah, or sibha, is a spiritual object found across cultures. In Saudi it embodies presence and dignity, in Morocco it is linked to Sufi tradition, and everywhere it remains a symbol of rhythm, meditation, and identity.

film screening

Participants will join a thought-provoking creative session centred on Morocco’s creative scene, featuring an archival film screening. Through rare footage, interviews, and intimate glimpses into the country’s artistic landscape, the film highlights the voices shaping Morocco’s culture today, with the producer sharing insights into the making of this documentary. After the screening, we’ll then come together to reflect, share insights, and connect with the themes of the film.

crafting memories: the art of scent

by Scenti

In partnership with Scenti, participants are invited to explore how scent becomes a vessel for memory and emotion. Guided by an expert perfumer, this immersive experience unveils the art of fragrance composition; from discovering raw ingredients and scent families to blending a bespoke perfume. Bottling memories along the way, each participant will leave with a fragrance that is uniquely their own.

rooted in connection – a plant medicine activation for creative flow

Drawing inspiration from Morocco’s rich heritage of folk traditions, indigenous knowledge, medicinal plants, and ritual practices, this creative session invites participants to reconnect with the ancestral wisdom of the land. Together we will honor the lineage of Moroccan plant medicine while engaging in the global movement to decolonize wellness, recognizing origins, challenging extractive patterns, and centering reciprocity, respect, and regeneration.

This creative session will begin by creating herbal bundles and incense from selected plants to honor their spirit and open the session with sacred smoke. Participants will then explore creative prompts, writing and storytelling inspired by Moroccan folk tales, and embodied practices that ground inspiration in lived experience. Anchored in stories such as The Argan Mother and Her Daughters, a tale of resilience, feminine creativity, and interdependence, this gathering invites us to remember our locality, embody the strength of the plants, and cultivate creative flow that continues to nourish us long after the ritual ends.

gratitude  & tea ceremony

The ceremony is crafted to weave threads of connection, serenity, and gratitude. A meditation guides participants to a tranquil center, grounding them in the present moment. This is followed by a tea ceremony, an intentional ritual that invites presence and reflection through the simple yet profound act of sharing tea. Within this sacred space, participants are gently urged to articulate their gratitude through both written and spoken word. It’s a multifaceted journey, one that resonates with the introspective chords of the individual soul and the collective heartbeat of the community.
